A SIP BEFORE STARDOM
Our Master Sommelier travels the globe in search of the next great wines, and always
finds unexpected, wonderful gems to bring heartier fare of autumn. Our current collection
of Drink Them Before They Are Famous wines includes two that are particularly perfect
for autumn. The first is a 2010 Petite Sirah produced by Michael David in Lodi,
California. Named "Petite Petit," it's a jammy wine bursting with flavors of black
fruit and vanilla, and is ideal paired with the heartier fare of fall. The other
wine you'll most certainly want to try this season is a 2010 Bonarda by Tilia Winery
in Argentina. Round and rich like Malbec, but with deeper tannins ideal for pairing
with steak, Bonarda offers aromas of ripe raspberries, licorice and flowers, and
flavors of vanilla, toast, and a touch of anise. Be one of the first to enjoy the
